Sarah Sigmon

When she was a very young child, Sarah’s folks dragged her along to folk dances with live music. Something in the music took root inside her. But the dancing scared her and she would hide under a table.

She was a young adult when she first heard traditional Irish music. A spark ignited that very moment, and it’s never ever burnt out.

She also spent one very memorable musical adventure-filled summer in Sweden and Finland. Along with the Irish music spark, she now carries a pocketful of midnight sun and cloudberries.

She loves to share her passion for traditional music with anyone who will listen, dance, or play along.

Biologically, she is zero percent Irish. As a fiddler though, she is “89% Irish, 6% Scandinavian, and 5% other”
