< About

Carol fell in love with the violin in the 4th grade, playing in classical quartets, trios, and orchestras through high school and college. But it was the Dublin (Ohio) Irish Festival in the late 1990s that she first stumbled upon Celtic music and was instantly hooked, addicted, and obsessed. After that, her violin worked very hard to become a fiddle! An admitted “session rat,” she’s a fixture in many of the local weekly Celtic music sessions and has played in several local bands through the years. She is grateful for the many talented musicians she has met from all over the country and the world in the Iirhs music scene and for those she has been privileged to perform with around Ohio and beyond. But she is especially grateful to be playing with Steve, Sarah, and Jim!
